(More customer reviews)So yea... I kept seeing those infomercials for the slider maker on tv and decided I wanted one.This was a reasonably priced alternative.And I am not disappointed.I've made several batches now and want to pass along some wisdom.

Keep the burgers on the thin side.They cook better.After you've pressed a batch, use a drinking straw to punch 3 holes in each patty.You can squeeze the excess meat out of the straw so it doesn't get wasted.You can freeze the tray of patties and then remove and snap apart each individual patty.And then store these frozen sliders in a freezer bag or container.It's nice to have a bunch on hand for quick easy snacks...When you grill them up, throw some onions on your pan and then the frozen patty.No need to flip them, as the steam vent holes you created with the straw eliminate the need for flipping.As for the buns, I've tried using hotdog buns cut in half - but they are too small.I've found both of my regular grocery stores stock mini burger buns in the deli department.

I disagree with the reviewer who thought this wouldn't last.While it's not made of a space age bionic polymer, there's no reason this product won't last for years and years with normal use and care.

(More customer reviews)I really like this little getup.I think it would be good for people with children.Very easy to use.I'm not a fan of huge hamburgers. Cut 2 or 3 little buns out of one big bun.Quartered a piece of cheese, put ketchup, mustard and a pickle on each.Very easy and yummy.

This grill is perfect and the surface area is exactly what I needed.

I had one of those 12 inch diameter portables and always lamented that I couldn't cook enough at one time.

So I wanted to find one with a nice surface area.
This has 266 sq inches of it for around $20.
Works great and I notice the weber portable for twice as much has only 165 sq inches.

Do yourself a favor, but this baby that folds down like a laptop when you are done.

Also, buy a weber chimney starter, you won't believe how hot your your coals get in no time and with no need for lighter fluid and how much faster food cooks on this grill...(you did take my advice and purchased it, didn't you?)

Totally recommended stove, perfect for camping.
