(More customer reviews)I wasn't using my BBQ much; because I disliked having to stand over the smoke constantly shifting the meat and using a water bottle to tame down the flames. I did some research and found these No Flare Squares.

Installation was easy. I removed all of the ceramic tile "biscuits" on the two grates below the grilles and then turned the grates over to get a smooth surface to lay down the Squares.

I then took two large fatty meat paddies and began to cook them. There were only a few flare-ups from fat dripping onto the metal burner below the Squares, but the flames each lasted only a second. It appears that the small holes in the squares extinguish the flame quickly. This made me glad that I didn't buy the other similar tiles on Amazon at 1/3 the cost. They have less, larger holes so this "self-extinguishing" capability might not work as well.

The other benefit was better heat distribution. My BBQ has always had a hot spot in the rear right. I found that I didn't have to shift the two paddy positions back and forth to ensure that both were cooked to the same degree. This is another reason why I'm glad I didn't buy the cheaper tiles; as they're thinner and wouldn't have spread out my hot spot as much.

I'll be using my BBQ a lot more now that I've converted it to the No Flare Squares!

(More customer reviews)I tried this magnetic gauge on a tank I knew was 3/4 full. I set it for 10 minutes each - near the bottom, in the middle and near where I thought 3/4 full would be. In all cases, the gauge colored indicators made absolutely no change, nor were any colors brightened. Noting. Dead. Stay away.

(More customer reviews)Currently attached to a half empty tank and main guage seems to work.Since my tank is housed in a grill cabinet, it wasn't easy to lift the tank prior to usuage to make sure I have enoung gas for BBQ.Now, no worries as before cooking.The electornic guage came with it didn't work though.It indicated a full tank when main guage showed half full.Basic unit is $10 less so get a basic unit instead of this one.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this product and am not that impressed. It is really just a pressure guage with some colored zones on it. It doesnt give you the greatest indication of the amount of fuel left in the tank. It does work, and as the needle indicates lower, obviously the tank contains less LP but it isnt that accurate. With the tank valve shut, the pressure will go up and indicate "GREEN," making you think that you have a lot of fuel. But when you turn on the grill and the pressure drops it indicates "RED" and you could run out of fuel before you cook your food.

Use this gauge as a general indication of tank level only, dont expect the greatest results. Take the $20 that you would spend on this device and apply it towards purchasing a second propane tank. That way if one tank runs out you have another to replace it with while you go and exchange the empty. You'll always have propane!
