(More customer reviews)We've kept one of these little grills in our RV for several years. It works pretty well for grilling burgers, pork chops and link sausages. We've even used it with firewood for small campfires at campgrounds that didn't have firepits. It's held up well.To add to its durability, we've always lined the pan with heavy duty aluminum foil before adding charcoal. That makes it easier to clean up too.
The only shortcoming of this grill is that it has no lid.We like to cook thicker cuts of meat by indirect heat and we couldn't do it with this grill. It's also slow cooking in the wind on cold nights in the mountains. That cold wind takes the heat away.
Ultimately, we replaced this grill in our RV with a Weber Smokey Joe Gold.Really, it's hard to beat Weber's grills for utility.
