Weber Style 32907 Professional-Grade 4-Piece Skewer Set Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I saw these and did a quick impulse buy, didn't really pay attention to the design.I thought the ring was to hold the end piece of food from falling off during grilling (which is a problem I often have), but it is to aid in pushing the food off the skewer.Traditional skewers don't have a big handle wasting precious real estate on the grill, these handles are very long, and quite useless when heated to grilling temperatures. You can't grab them to turn the kabob, you have to let them cool off, and by then you might as well have removed the kabob contents for serving.I think these would be fine for the little hibatchi or a tiny open grill where the handles can hang off the side away from heat.Oh well, live and learn.

Tom Douglas by Pinzon Stainless-Steel Pronged Kebob Skewers, Set of 2 Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My other half laughed at my excitement over these super nifty kebob skewers...but I had the last laugh after he tried them for the fist time. Sure, shish-kebobs are not exactly a high excitement item nor are they something you prepare every day of the week...which is why it's important to have a good set of kebob skewers available - make it fun rather than frustrating.

This set does exactly that. Well designed to address the most common kebob problems including...

1. Rotation Rage - y'know what I'm talking about. Twirling tomatoes, precarious pineapple chunks and mushroom that slide in slow motion right off the skewer. All fixed thanks to dual prongs.

2. Short Stacks - face it, short stacks are a mans worst nightmare. Few things are worse than a lot of veggies with tiny chunks of meat...much less when the skewer is only a few inches long. Full sized skewers assure a hearty meal.

3. Pain - Whether burning your had on metal handles or stabbing yourself while trying to tug/chew food off the skewer, pain is a typical outcome associated with shish kebobs. Pain free food is simple with a ergonomically correct handle that stays cool to the touch and the (very smart) addition of a pusher to easily remove food from the prongs.

Bottom line - the most fun, least hassle shish keebob skewers I've ever tried!

Outset QS78 Forged Stainless-Steel Skewers, Set of 4 Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I made Shish kabobs using these skewers and they turned out great. The flat surface allows you to turn the meat 4 times for perfect grilling. Don't make the mistake of buying round skewers as you won't be able to turn the meat properly.

Heavy Duty Super Skewer Barbecue Skewers - 2 packs of 2 Heavy Duty Super Skewers (plus one pack FREE) - FREE STANDARD SHIPPING IN USA Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I loved the original "Super Skewer" so much, that I got a set of these too. These are a little heaver than the original ones, but with all the same great features, and are the perfect skewer for grilling half-chickens and . . . my absolute favorite . . . flank steaks. We do a lot of back-yard entertaining and everyone who comes over comments on how great they are. It's so nice not to have to struggle with tongs to turn meat that is already on a skewer . . . like I used to do with the silly, short skewers . . . and no more burning my fingers trying to grap the little metal rings at the end of my old ones. The seller has been very nice and shipped very quickly.

The larger diameter tines make The heavy Duty Super Skewer great for kabobing those big items... Brawts, Sausages, Strip or Flank Steak or any other larger item that you like to kabob on the grill.
