Brinkmann 9007 Rib Rack Review

The construction is somewhat flimsy (but I don't feel it will break).Maybe flexibility is a "strength."

there are no handles to grab the rack easily (with mits)

it is VERY difficult to clean due to its tight space.

The one plus side is that it is very big and can store a lot of ribs!

(More customer reviews)I got a couple of these for the cost of S/H with coupons from Raichlen's books, so I cannot complain about the price. But I opened the lid of the smoker to check the temperature, inserted the thermometer, turned to quickly answer a friend's question about the barn and when I turned back to the grill, the plastic on the thermometer had bubbled and melted all over poor Steven's face. I threw the other one out. Not a good buy.

For anyone purchasing the Breville toaster oven (absolutely the best on the market) this fits perfectly!!! Ribs take 2 and 1/2 hours at 350 deg. I put the corn on for the last hour, buttered and sprinlked with parmesian cheese. Potatoes also take an hour. (More customer reviews)This thing worked like a charm for about four months.The smoke was perfect.I loved it.Then it started feeding the smoke biscuits continually instead of one every 15 minutes.I took it apart and couldn't get it to stop.Probably a lower tech approach to smoke generation would work more reliably.

I've seen a few other brands and models on the market so I'll try one of those.
