(More customer reviews)First off, the packaging was horrible.It came in a box not much bigger than the pan with NO packing at all.The handle was sticking out the side of the box when I got it!!No biggie though.I opened the box and found the pan to be of poor quality, the handle was barely long enough for me to hold in my hand and with no handle opposite, it would be a chore to move this baby around when you had a few pounds of food in it!!The casting was REALLY rough and you could see that there was about a 3 inch spot in the middle where the casting was very thin.This thing was junk and I sent it back to be replaced by a Lodge.Bayou Classics are cast in China and they look like it!!Wish I knew that before I ordered it!!

(More customer reviews)If you are a caterer or own a restaurant,then you probably can effectively use the 22" wok. I loved the idea of a huge wok, but failed to anticipate the challenges it brings:
1. I couldn't season it in a standard oven. I had to resort to using the burner to season it by turning it. It was a laborious experience.
2. I can't easily clean it in a standard sink. Good thing I'm cooking next to the hose.

Get the 18", or search Amazon for "Wok Shop" and get a 14" or 16".

(More customer reviews)This item is not solid cast iron . whatever metal they used to cover it looks like it but easily scrathes off revealing the aluminum. Not safe at all since you will injest metal pieces with your food.
It even warns you that it does not need to be treated like cast Iron and that it is aluminum on a piece of paper they stick inside the pot.

Mine arrived heavily scratched and appeared used.

The french fry machine that came with it will shoot your potatoes across the kitchen.

The onion mum spice mix contains MSG
It is too heavy to ship back, it got chucked in the trash the first day I got it as it cannot even be used for a flower pot.

I would not feed a pet water from this thing.

(More customer reviews)So cute! (see customer images). Mine is an older version, I think, because mine only has 4shapes (I didn't get it on amazon). I wish that mine had seven like this one though, because 4 at a time is slow! My only complaint is that you have to be patient fliping them over. it is hard to get the spatula into the circular insets, and I had to use my fingers to help after the spatula pried it up, but they all came out perfectly! They didn't leave chunks behind on the pan at all.

Whole wheat pancakes do not look good... the shapes, while accurate, are harder to see (at least with the recipe I tried).

If you are having trouble with the pancakes, try this recipe:[...](recipezaar recipe #106670). It's the one I have been using with the pan, and I've had no trouble with the pancakes using it.

(More customer reviews)We have had the 10" griddle for 2 weeks.My husband uses it almost every morning.How do I clean it?Rinse it out with a little dish soap!This is the best piece of non-stick cookware I have ever owned.It is so much better than the old Teflon, and easier on the environment.

07-24-09: Here's an update, Gang.We have two of these now, and they are still going strong.Do not put these in the dishwasher.My son made that mistake, and ruined his little griddle.

04-15-10:Another update.We still use these almost every day.The surfaces are still great.
